7 people whom Allah loves

The greatest success in human life is to gain the love of Allah. For a believer, this is a matter of great fortune. Gaining the love of Allah means gaining peace, security and eternal welfare in this world and the Hereafter. Allah Almighty has clearly mentioned in the Quran and Hadith who He loves and through what qualities a servant can be loved by Him.

Those whom Allah loves

1. The repentant: It is said, ‘Indeed, Allah Almighty loves those who repent and purify themselves.’ (Surah Al-Baqarah: 222). Those who return from mistakes, weep in repentance, Allah forgives them and loves them.

2. The righteous: ‘Indeed, Allah loves the righteous.’ (Surah Al-Imran: 76). Taqwa means fearing Allah and obeying His commands and prohibitions. Those who fear Allah secretly and openly are loved by Allah.

3. Patient: ‘Allah loves those who are patient.’ (Surah Al-Imran: 146). Allah loves those who are patient in the face of life’s hardships.

4. Just: ‘Indeed, Allah loves those who are just.’ (Surah Al-Ma’idah: 42). Establishing justice is one of the fundamental principles of Islam. Those who refrain from injustice and stand for justice are loved by Allah.

5. Trusting: ‘Indeed, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him.’ (Surah Ale Imran: 159. Having complete trust in Allah is a sign of faith. Allah loves those who rely on Allah in all their affairs.

6. Maintaining purity: Purity of body, clothes and soul is very important in Islam. It is said, ‘Allah loves those who purify themselves.’ (Surah At-Tawbah: 108)

7. Following the Messenger (peace be upon him): It is said, ‘Say, if you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you.’ (Surah Ale Imran: 31). Following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) is one of the ways to attain Allah’s love.
